We schedule a "date night"...just for us, at least once a month. We have been married 31 years, but together 36 now.

Do YOU do a "date night"?

List the "length of time you have been together", and "how often you have a real DATE NIGHT actually planned...or how often they realistically happen for you.

I am wondering if the longer people are together, the less frequent those become...or vise versa. It may be something younger couples need as they deal with child care and not so much once empty nesters?

Together 36 years, Date night 1 time per month. (Used to be 2 times a month, when possible, when we had a child at home).

We have Date Night three times a week. We saw each other every other day when we first started dating and just kind of kept with it. We don't go out, but I cook a nice dinner, dress a little sexier, slut up with the make-up a little more and we watch movies and play board games. It's a lot of fun and I hope it doesn't change!

We have been together for 25 years, married for 24. We try to go out to dinner with just us at least 1x a week. Then we try to do some kind of event date like: see a movie, go to a concert, etc at least once a month.

We have been married 18 years. During football season, we have a standing date every Sunday afternoon at 12 sharp. We head to our favorite hole in the wall bar for football, beer and brats!

We rarely feel the need to have a "date". We frequently do things together (without anyone else), our son is quite busy. We go to the movies, dinner, lunch dates in the middle of the work day, the shooting range, fishing, hiking, shopping, etc.

We always comment that we are going to be just fine as empty nesters.

We always do "date nights". It's very important to our marriage and relationship. we need our time without the kids around. We go to the movies or the casino or even a picnic on the beach. It makes our relationship stronger when we have our time together.

I forgot to mention that I've been with my Master for almost 15 years. We try to have a date night once a week. Sometimes we are not able to for a few weeks but we try to never go a month without a date night.

Been married 8 years. Depends on what you mean by date night. We don't get to actually go out much right now due to schedules, finances, and kids, but we try to have a night about every week where we just stay in and watch a new movie together on the couch. It usually leads to other activities and is a great way to break up our routine.
