I call my boyfriend "Pigeon" because he hates it. I think it's cute. Lol. We're "playful" with each other in that we're "mean" to each other. It's all joking but we call each other names and say means things to each other that we know we don't mean.

I know exactly what you mean with "fake meanness" or calling a guy cute even if he doesn't like it! It's those little moments of affection that make you feel closer partly because it's cute, and partly because you know you can really push each other's buttons but you don't.

Funny moments turn into repeated inside jokes - the usual things you'd have with a good friend you've known for a while.

I'm really playful but my bf has a limit to how playful I get before he wants me to be serious. The limit depends on the situation we're in and how his days gone though

I can't remember the last time we called each other by name...it's reserved for when we're really angry. The rest of the time we call each other by a handful of nicknames, over the years they've changed from cutsie things like "Pookie" to more bizarre things like "Boobie" lol

We wrestle, we pick on each other, we chase each other around the house, we tickle, we horse around quite often!
