Are you turned on by age?

When I was younger I always liked older guys, but now that I'm getting older, the people I am attracted to are closer to my age. I've always liked very masculine men, so when I was 13 the boys my age didn't do much for me. But now that I'm 20, I find more people my own age attractive. I find some men who are 20+ years older than me attractive, but I wouldn't really want to be in a relationship with someone more than about 5 years older, 10 tops.

I didn't know that I had a thing for older men - it was sort of an unexamined part of myself. I always dated men who were a bit older than me (within 10 years) but I don't really consider that the same thing. I'm 27 and my boyfriend will be turning 48 in October and I have realized that his age does turn me on... The grey hairs in his sideburns are HAWT. It might be some hold over from when I was a teenager and delighted in the fact that I got a reaction from grown men.

I'm really not attracted to men who are much older than I am. I've never really gone after anyone who was more than 5 years older than me, and most of my partners have been within 2 years of my age.

I am totally into older men. The majority of the men I fantasized about as a teen were in their late 20s to mid 30s. My husband is 6 years older than I am. Most of the guys who turn me on now (other than my hubby) are in their late 30 and early 40s (I'm in my late 20s). I always joke with my hubby that he'll trade me in for a "newer" model and I'll trade him in for a "classic".

I prefer to stick to men around my own age, as long as they are mature. I'm 22, and a lot of guys my age are pretty immature. Thankfully my boyfriend, who is 25, is serious and doesn't blow his money on useless stuff.

I prefer woman around my own age usually within a year or two younger, also the persons maturity plays a crucial role as well.

The maturity level thing is definitely a good point, but my guy is 5 years older than me and we are pretty great together. My parents are almost ten years apart and i can't really think of really liking someone over 10 yrs older than me...

My current relationship is with a man twice my age. Although I think he is a good person, he is not the person for me--and don't even go thinking that because he's older that automatically means he must be a God in bed! I have had relationships with people anywhere from my exact age to this current one with it's great age span, and honestly... It doesn't really make a difference, not in my experience anyways.

Some older men turn me on. The ones that do are confident, attractive in appearance (manly man), social, and a bunch of other things. I hate guys who try so hard and are macho, it's just that it makes me feel like they're compensating for soemthing or they are trying to be someone they are not bcs they are not confident in who they already are.

I voted same age. My husband is 4 years older than me, but at this point in our lives a 4 year age difference is nothing. It was different when we first met and I was 18 and he was 22. I have been with people that were considerably older, but those were exceptions to the rule. I think I'd stay away from anyone that was older than my parents though. That would just be a little weird for me.

My partner in crime is fifteen years my senior, closer to sixteen if you want to split hairs. I've dated guys my age, I've dated guys younger, dated 'around' my age...and I've found that as much as it is a matter of individualism it is also a matter of the culutural events taking place.

The guy I am with now, remembers a time when children didn't get their way even if they deserved it. A time when music meant something and integrity was all anyone had. Guys in my generation turned out to be, in very general terms, a bunch of fuckwitted momma's boys who couldn't make a decision to save their lives - or mine for that matter. It was exhausting running a home, dealing with their temper tantrums and trying to maintain some level of respect for them. As I said, this is strictly with the guys I have personally dated. I've also met some incredibly intelligent men that still needed constant coddling and I'm just not that kind of a person when it comes to relationships. I'm the one that's supposed to be having meltdowns and crying over ASPCA commercials...not them.

Age is't a huge issue to me, but when I think about men I find handsome, yes, they are usually older.

It's funny because I married my husband who is the same age as me, but he always looks and acts about 10 years older. I LOVE older men, Sam Elliott, Sean Connery and Tom Selleck....HOT!
