I'm a little ashamed to admit this, but, I don't know what Tumblr is, how to use it and its purpose. I'm barley literate with Facebook. Needless to say, I barely use it and have a page just to say that I have a page.

A personal friend of mine has the same interests as I do and constantly reblogs things that I find fascinating. She has the only Tumblr site that I follow.

My opinion is Tumbir is for those with way too much time on their hands. Probably, as Sy,N says, for sharing. I think FB is useful. Obviously by the tremendous number of FB users.

Of course just my humble opinions.

I happen to agree with you Oriental Husband and wife regarding the "too much time on their hands" issue. I can see the merit of advertising on social media, however, I don't have time to use social media.

It's kinds funny. As I mentioned before I have a Fb page, but my motivation for having it originally was to catch up with a friend I haven't seen since we were in 7th grade. She is the only reason I use Fb.
