Had not heard of this, but yeah...I'm a little uncomfortable with the whole idea because of the health risks associated. There is nothing wrong with being plus sized (my partner is), but given the clear physical consequences of morbid obesity I see this as harmful and somewhat predatory (even if both parties are consenting).

I've heard of it. I hate to shame anyone for their kinks but I don't see what is safe or sane about causing another person to become immobile or being willing to become immobile for something like this. What if their partner suddenly turned abusive and then they were stuck bedridden unable to escape? It seems like a good way to end up in a terrible situation if taken too far.

As far as I have seen and heard the fetish isn't about control it's about food, weight, and flesh. Feeders love to feed their partners, get sexual thrills from the feeling that feeding a partner gives us all and the excess weight reminds them of that pleasure. OR they simply like the feel of a large partner's fat rolls and fetishize them.

One thing that being here in this accepting and open community we should have all learned by now is the easy answer to why a fetish is popular is probably not the real or even correct answer.
