For the purpose of this question lets define a "strong fetish" as something you can't get off and/or get aroused without or you can but it's much more difficult and/or it takes much longer. The fetish might be something you need physically present or just in your mind.

Personally, mine are pretty mild. My guy didn't have any in the past... I think the ones he has recently developed don't have that much control over whether he can get off.

This is an interesting question as I think part of it is determined by one's perceptions and preferences. If you struggle with it, meaning causes distress in some way (i.e., object dependent) then it could be a paraphilia..but if you can be satisfied without also...fetish.

I guess my answer would be no. I very much enjoy anal play, and my wife enjoys playing with my butt every chance I she gets. DO I like it..YES!! , would I want it most if not every time..YES, is it necessary for arousal..no.

A question I think would be also interesting to ask would be that of sexual deal breakers in a relationship...I would not be able to be with a woman long term unless they liked anal play and were adventurous. Does that mean it's something I am dependent on? Probably not, more so I want to be happy and I know what I really like...but still..perception I suppose.

Human nature to like certain things or not other things...but a Fetish really is a strong compulsion and NOPE...don't have those. Nothing that would devastating me if I could never do it again.

I consider myself a poly-fetishist, with a mild interest. They help, but I don't need one of them present to get off.
