I need some suggestions!

So, my 4 year anniversary is coming up on the 8th and I have no idea what to do for it. I know we have to run an errand that day so it's going to put a damper on it. Anyways, I want to do something nice for him. He probably doesn't have anything special planned (he's not a romantic just a tired boy who works too much). But I don't mind, I don't like surprises much anyways. We're 24, no kids, 1 roommate. Also, I have to abide by a budget. So, I was thinking we could go on a day trip & dinner or something to get him out of the house since he works so much. Then come back home for some "us" time. But time is an issue and I haven't worked out the specifics and that plan isn't solid. Any sexy suggestions? What did you guys do on your anniversary? I need some inspiration!

We have done a weekend trip in the past - just a simple get a out town and spend some "us" time. We usually only go about an hour or so away and stay at a hotel for a night. Or take a day trip to somewhere close by that you both enjoy - maybe do a picnic of some kind and then a nice dinner

We always have a budget for things too, so I understand what you're saying. While you're out on your errand, start flirting a lot with him, touch his arm, his face, hold his hand. Talk about how much you can't wait to have him alone later. This will kind of take away from the fact you have to do something on your anniversary.

Go to a dinner. I wouldn't go to an all you can eat buffet, but some place nicer than McDonalds, but not crazy expensive. Olive Garden, Applebees, some place like that isn't going to break the bank to eat at.

When you get home, tell him to take a nice hot shower. While he's in the shower put on something sexy and get out some massage oil (even lotion would work if you don't have oil) and treat him to a fully body massage. My husband loves that when he's been working a lot.

The massage can be just that, putting your hands all over his body will likely lead to more though!

That's something I would do with my man, not that you have to follow that to an exact T, but my husband appreciates the time spend, and effort put in above anything else. Plus, who doesn't LOVE a massage!
