Is it okay for a single person to just sleep around?

It's fine to sleep around single: IF and ONLY IF you communicate your desires. If you get with someone for a one night stand then you have to let them know that's all that its going to be. As well as that, you cannot just say whatever the other person wants to hear (you're beautiful I love you lets get married) JUST to get the sex. Lastly if you know that it's someone else's boy/girlfriend you SHOULD NOT sleep with them if you have that knowledge already.

If you're honest about what you want and its consensual then it's perfectly fine. Nothing slutty about that. Have fun, and be safe.

We both think there should be some interest in the other person first. If there is an instant connection, then maybe. Might be better to get to know the person somewhat. What if he is a psycho or a serial killer ? Forget the name of a movie saw long ago. She, Diane Keaton was a school teacher or something, barhopped, slept with different person every night and was viciously stabbed while having sex at the end. Of course that was just a movie. Wow, showing my age now. Hope I don't jinx you.

Looking for Mr. Goodbar is the name of the movie. Wasn't it Richard Gere who played the murderer?

Okay, enough with the slut-shaming here ladies, especially on a sex-positive website!

Your body is YOUR body. Your sex life is YOUR sex life. Your choices are YOURS.

Your body and sexuality are yours to embrace, and no one has the right to tell you how much is too much, or how much sex you should or shouldn't be having!

As long as you're happy and not hurting anyone - keep loving yourself and loving others.

Of course, it's never good to sleep with someone for validation, or to feel better about yourself, but that doesn't at all seem like the case here.

It's an empowering and liberating feeling to free yourself from societal judgements - and even your own judgements - and have sex just to have fun and enjoy yourself, no strings attached, and feel that pleasure! You can have a great sex life that doesn't define you, and still have an incredibly healthy attitude!
