A good follow up can be as simple as looking at something/trying it again a few months later to see if you have any different impressions, then updating based on that. Even if you don't change your opinion, simply revisiting it is helpful.

Trying them again, including information you didn't in your initial review (such as product material and safety use with condoms or specific cleaning instructions)... Or telling how the product has held up over time. Has the board of a game stayed in good condition or has the finish started to peel off? Has the motor died on a toy? Have you had the desire to reread the book? Have you found anything new inside of the pages that you hadn't read before? Have you introduced the movies to new people?

Sometimes with my follow up reviews I've felt like I've been grasping at straws but I've included as much information as possible and that's really my job as a reviewer. The first review is an initial impression of a toy and the follow-up can really be how you feel about it over time.

Welcome Minxy! I don't think that any of the reviewers actually feel as if they are competing with each other. I don't, anyway. Everyone is here for there own reasons. Some because sex is so much better with toys, some because they want to learn about toys, some because they want free toys, some because they are trying to improve there sexual relationship, etc. I'd say that most reviewers want to write great reviews.

The entire ranking system has been viewed different ways by different individuals. Part of the issue is that everyone has a different idea of what should be considered important and the current system is poorly understood. Hopefully the new system will come out soon, and we'll all cheer!

Im online the site regulary throughout the day. I spend most of my evenings on here cruising the forums, others reviews and searching for products I want. Im on here so much I NEVER close the site down cause my laptop runs 24/7.

My rating doesn't grow with activity. It sometimes goes up if I have an Extremely useful review. But other wise it doesn't change.

At first I cared about the ranking but I gave up trying to make it grow cause it's out of my hands. I just do what I enjoy and what happens with my ranking, happens. I don't want to be a mentor so getting up to a 6.0 means bugger all to me. Sure, the higher ranking allows you to choose a higher priced toy but most of the ones I want can't be free reviews anyway, so I just end up buying them.
