Accidental (unfinished) review submissions

Hey, I just accidentally submitted my first assigned review to an editor, prior to completing said review. There is not a thread on this particular topic that I could find. I usually jot notes in the review extended format boxes etc and then pull some more lyrically sensical meaning from my notes later for the actual to-be published review'. So I don't just want to 'add some stuff' but rather gather my thoughts so they are coherent and elucidate. Sorry for the inconvenience.

You can comment on your unpublished review, and it will only be visible to you and the editor! I'm sure this happens and they have a protocol to follow!

The editor can return the review to you if I remember well (I've edited a review recently and I remember that option). So yes, leave a comment, and let him/her know that it's not complete.

Just checked if I could find your review, and I did. It's back in your hands. Have fun.

In the case of submitting a review to a mentor, it is how they already said. There is a designated notes. If you feel that you have submitted a review that was published with extra info, you should be able to edit this through the review area in your account, or, can always send me an email at gary@edenfantasys.com

thanks all, submitting a post here and communicating in the comment portion of the review helped- thanks Kynky Kytty for checking on my review, and Gary I had submitted my review prematurely to a general editor, not a mentor, thus the confusion. thanks again
