Are we allowed to present a regular review after doing a DR?

P'Gell P'Gell
I just did my first Descriptive Review! (Why I didn't get into this program sooner, I don't know.)

I was wondering, if after the DR is published, if we can also write a regular review for the toy? Or is that verboten?

I really like the Don Wands Curved Purple Swirl, my first glass toy, and would love to review it on the site as well. Is that kosher, or not?

Also, about how long does a DR take to go live?

A DR can take anywhere from a few days, to a few weeks or even months to publish. Once it does, it is a review on the site, so you can't write another one for it. If there were feelings and opinions you wanted to add, you can always add them to the experience or personal comments sections. If you had a blog or something like that, you could also write a review there as long as it was obviously very different from the onsite review.

OK, thank you.

I don't have a blog, and a review wouldn't be that different. I'll just leave it be. I will be doing a video, so that will be fun.

Congrats on your first DR, P'Gell - it's definitely a challenge to stay so objective when you're used to reviewing the 'normal' way.

I'm excited about my first video as well. Well, that is once the rechargeable batteries are done charging.

Videos are fun. It's not my first video, (I've done about 16 or so) but congrats on yours.

Usually, you have to do a couple of takes the first time. But, it's really fun, and then plugging it into Movie Maker or whatever you use, choosing music, if that's what you like to add, titles, special effects etc. It's a really creative thing to do.

GOOD LUCK! I'll be looking forward to it.

No, neither. The Man said OK. He respects authority, and I said, "I received an assignment for a glass toy." He said, "You'd better do it, then. Just be careful." LOL!

Wow, I just learned something new. I never knew we could do the DR. I had seen them before, just never knew how they were assigned.
