Description reviews on new product pages

Rockin' Rockin'
The new product page design has been out for a while now. Currently, for products with a description review (DR), the full text of the DR is featured below the product pictures, video(s) and review taglines (example of new product page with DR). I have a few questions related to this part of the page.

1. The DR is under a section heading called "Properties and Instructions." Do you feel that this header is a good choice? I think there are certainly properties and instructions covered in the DR but (from a shopper's POV) I'm not sure if I'd see a section with that title and look to it for a product overview.

2. I noticed that the DR is no longer listed in the reviews list as a separate review. While I realize that the DR can be read on product page, I'm not sure how to vote or comment on it except to go to the contributor's page and find the review in their list. What thoughts do you have on this?

3. Are there some bigger changes coming? I wasn't sure whether to post this thread because I know the staff announces changes, but I was wondering if other community members had noticed these features/changes and if they'd like to give feedback. Sorry if I jumped the gun.

Okay, I guess other people aren't as weirded out by this as I am, but maybe this example will help. Look at this product page, preferably in a new tab.

At the top, Backseat Boohoo's summary is featured. Scroll down to reviews. Three are listed, and none are hers. Scroll down to "Properties and Instructions." The summary, pros and cons of her review are featured, but where is the text? I'm not sure why some reviews aren't featured in the review list.

I noticed that the DR reviews were missing and I hate this because when i am quickly scrolling to look for two verified reviews, sometimes I miss it then. I was going to say something if it wasn't changed soon. It also doesn't help us see which review is most helpful. Sometimes the DR isn't the best of the bunch. I thought there was a link to see their entire review to vote on it? That I didn't notice but if it is missing...that's a pain too.

Yes, I've noticed this, too. I have noticed that sometimes all of the descriptive review does not show up on the product description page and, in these cases, that there is not a way to read the rest of the review (let alone vote on it or comment). But sometimes the entire descriptive review IS on the product page (though, again, you can't vote or comment on it).

I wish this was not the case. But I realize that making format changes is such a time-consuming, labor-intensive process that presents unforeseen problems. I think this is just a kink that will be worked out eventually.

I agree that there are probably some kinks to work out. I have also noticed that some product pages look like the previous ones did, while some are in the new format. I personally liked the old one :p
