Need an explanation of "free assignment" versus "buyout assignment"!

Need an explanation of "free assignment" versus "buyout assignment"!

Hello all,

I'm trying to choose a product to request, but I can't seem to find any literature that specifically explains the difference between a "free assignment" and a "buyout assignment". I know HOW to request a product, though, but nothing beyond that. Thanks in advance for your responses!

You do a free assignment when you're requesting a product to review that you will receive for free - it has to be in your
price range and have less than 2 reviews. If you are assigned this product that you request, you don't pay anything for it.

With a buyout assignment, you can pick any item from the site to review, and you get a 30% discount off of the price of the item. So it isn't free, but you don't have the product price or number of review restrictions. You still need to write a review of the product.

I was wondering about the same thing! I wish there was an explanation when you go to your account and click on the pink links.

How many buyout assignments can you request at once? And can you do buyout assignments on items that aren't toys?

You used to be able to request a few, but you may not anymore. But you HAVE to finish those before doing another in the next order. Yes...buy out on anything.

A few weeks ago I was able to get 4 items in one buyout assignment, so unless it has changed very recently, you can still do it.
