A couple of years ago, I was able to request a free assignment no problem... but when I decided to do it now, I finally find something I can request and a day later it has already been cancelled by an administrator. Am I missing something? Why would a free request be cancelled??

I was going to place a huge order tonight but when I saw that, I'm now reconsidering! Help? Thanks!

Was it lingerie by any chance? I had that happen to me the other day. Apparently Eden is not assigning lingerie for free assignments anymore. There were some other changes to the review program, but I'm not sure of the specifics. You might want to PM an administrator if you have questions.

It was a toy, actually. I was aware some changes went down, but I'm not 100% sure what they were. It's sort of annoying though! I try to request anything for a free review and 98% of items aren't available for review, and the one time I actually find something I can request, it's cancelled with no explanation. I think there should be a reasoning given at cancellation, personally.

I keep hearing about this happening to people but so far I've been lucky and haven't experienced it. I was unaware there'd been any changes to the review program though.

One issue right now is that there are SOOO many people looking for free assignments right now. Toys are only allowed 3 free reviews - so if that toy is already assigned out to 3 people. It will not be available to review... even if those 3 reviews haven't posted yet. So it will look like it's available, even though it isn't.

Does that make sense? I'm not sure if I explained it well.

It's happened to me before. I also requested one and it got approved, I waited for the sale to start the next day and they cancelled the assignment on me before I could place the order.

That means that 3 people already got to it. Try again with the next toy to be released and watch it very carefully.

This has happened to me probably dozens of times, so I'm surprised more people haven't experienced it. It's just luck of the draw.

Yep, it's happened to me several times. Last time (last week) I actually put my request in within about 30 minutes of the item being listed but it was already assigned

That can happen when the item has pending reviews.
