Does buyout reviews have limits?

Miss Nessa Miss Nessa
How many can you do at once?
I found a couple of items I want. I can't afford them without the buyout.
So I was curious is there a limit? The most I've done in one order was three. This big order I'm planning to do, I have 6 if I'm not mistaken.

Whats the most buyouts have you ordered at once?

I am not sure if there are limits, the most I have done was 3 as well. If you want to find out then simply try to put 6 buyout assignments in your cart at once and see if it lets you do it. The system is pretty good at stopping you from doing things that you are not allowed to, so if it works then you know you can do it. Good luck to getting all 6 reviews done

I'm not 100% sure on the actual number, but if you can only do a certain number and that number is less than 6, it'll stop you. Worst case is you do a few, then come back and get the rest on buyout later?

Buyouts can or cannot be combined with other offers?

The most I have ever done is four.

Something to keep in mind, no matter how many you are able to order at once, they all are due (the reviews) at the same time- 3 to 4 weeks. This could possibly nip you in the butt if you ordered say, eight toys. You might end up rushing through the reviews, ya know?

Might be better to order a few, write the reviews and them place another order.

Yes and no. You can do a buyout and use a sale coupon in the same order, but the coupon will only affect the price of whatever else isn't your buyout assignment. You could use a gift card to pay for the remainder of or a chunk of the rest of your purchase as well.

I just did 5. I always end up doing my reviews a couple of days after I get my toys, anyway. Out of the 5 things, only two were toys.

I think the limit is MOSTLY how many can you really review that quickly.

I haven't done a buyout yet, but am planning on doing one very soon. I'd think that you should be able to do as many as you can possibly review in a short amount of time.

Four here too.

I had a hard time getting mine all done in a timely fashion because life got in the way (and my husband ended up being out of town for a month). I might be an odd duck, though. I like to make sure I know the product; I feel I need to test it out 5 or 6 times prior to writing a thorough review.

This! When I first started I would belt them out after one or two uses. Now I feel it is more important to get plenty of use out of them first. Most of mine I write just before the due date.

I just bought 5 buyout items on Thursday. I wanted several things but could only buy them if I did buyout, and I could only make 1 purchase so that is what I did. I requested a free assignment after that order and it was approved the next day, so I have 6 in total now. This is also my first buyout and free assignment orders, I just started reviewing even though I've been ordering from EF for quite a while now. The only thing I am worried about is this book, I like reading but I don't really read a whole lot. If I didn't think I could do it though in the allowed time frame, I wouldn't of requested so many, I probably just would of gotten the things I wanted most and knew I could handle.3 of those items are lipgloss, shaving cream and a toy cleaner though, only 2 are toys and the other is the aforementioned book. I think I can handle it.

A buyout lets a reviewer purchase an item at a 30% discount in exchange for a review.

I have just taken out 6 buy outs for the second time.

As for getting them in on time, I often don't, but then the items take a good 2 1/2 weeks to get to me anyway. And Eden is tolerant even if I'm a little over. They know I'm going to get them done as quickly as possible and thoroughly. I can't write a review the day or even the day after I get an item. I need some good time to 'connect' with it so I can let readers know exactly what the item is like.
To me, if a job is worth doing, it's worth doing properly!

Although some people are going to frown upon me taking so many out at once and some being over-due, try living overseas when we can't just cash in on all the great sales Eden has. We miss out on most of these cause $25 shipping for just one sale item isn't worth it. So for us, buy outs are basically the only way to go getting items cheaper!

I just placed an (overseas) order, and since I was using the cyber monday 20% off everything giftcode, and the most expensive item in my order, the O2 Mark Dildo was 25% off, I felt like I was already getting a good deal without adding too much stress to myself to review too much at once. I have one monthly review item in the order, and I since the total was just a wee bit over what I had available in gift cards and points, I changed the second most expensive item to a buyout to bring it back under. So in an order of 7 items, I'll only have to review two of them by a deadline.

I can certainly understand people doing more though. I've had times when I've been able to review a couple items a week with no problem. I just don't have the time on my hands right now.

I am a busy person, and I want to make sure I have time to do the reviews, so I get one free item and one buyout item at a time. Anything else, I just buy with whatever discount I can, and review them as time allows.
