I see the only free shipping option for assignments is Fedex SmartPost. Soon I'll be moving into a place that has no physical address; only a PO Box address. As far as I'm aware Fedex will not deilver to a PO Box.

Is it possible to get free USPS shipping on assignments or would I have to pay $6 to get each assignment shipped to me?

SmartPost goes via FedEx to the general area of your residence and then gets delivered by the post office, so they should be able to do PO boxes.

So you can still use Fed ex smart post for Po Box and still not pay? I called about this about a a week ago and the woman only told me that it goes by mail to the address and that next time to use USPS and pay the $6?

Yep, you should be able to use FedEx Smartpost to deliver to PO boxes. The person you talked to might have got confused with a different FedEx service like I originally was.

That is good to know. I checked on line and took a bit to find it on Fedex but it did say to po boxes. I had one shipped to my grandmothers one time she didn't open it so I just told her it was from one of our out of state friends sending something to our daughter. LOL...That is good that fed ex will do something like that makes things easier, I don't mind the cost of shipping if I really had to, no way around it pay the cost I would.
