I've been slacking on my Eden stuff lately but I just published a review. I didn't receive points for it like I had in the past. Doesn't really matter but it struck me as odd seeing as they had always popped up before.

Are points suspended? Did I miss the memo??



Okay, when I submitted this discussion, it rewarded me with 10 points. I'm so confused!

points look a lot different than they did even a week ago. You should check out the even points section of your profile and see the changes as they are vast

I published a follow up review and received points. There has been some changes to the point system. I suggest you contact the admin if this continues.

I've seen the pop up for receiving points for posting in the forums for me, but I do know there has been changes to the point system. You can find where to go in your profile or account dashboard I think.

Was the review for an assignment? If so, you'll notice the new point listing says that reviews for assignments no longer earn points.

If you get a toy for free, you are require to post a review. It is a fair exchange for a good for a service (and probably the way the program was initially designed, or at least should have been). If you pay for a product, on eden or elsewhere you may review that product for points. basically you cannot get 5.00 in points for something you got for free.

Hopefully this means that the updated assignment program will be coming soon (and hopefully it will bring back free international shipping for assignments, so that all of us can actually participate).

How do you verify a purchase? Like, is it a manual process where an admin has to look into it or is it an automatic thing where if it's in your order history you get points? (As a follow up, what if your friend bought it for you off of Eden? Could you contact someone and get points for the review if you have their order number and such?)

Welp this has pretty much sealed the deal for me.

I'm sad to see Eden turn into what it has. It was like an "online home" for me but now everything I loved about it is gone. The lingerie assignments, points in general, awesome admins, everything!!

It was a good run though. And I'm glad I met some awesome people through it...

Verification is automatic. We've essentially created programming that will match item numbers against each other to verify the purchase. If you received something as a gift and review it, you will not earn points for it.

It may be something we can do in the future, but at this time only items purchased from your acount will earn points when reviewed.
