EEEK! Where did all these "20%" come from while I was writing my review????

Contributor: PassionQT PassionQT
So I have just spent the last 3 hours on a review, I hit save and what shows up?

"Berry Delight by Vibratex is a sweet and discreet little vibrating clitoral egg/covered bullet"

This, all throughout it!!!!!I am furious!!I can't fix it unless I go through and delete all these stupid 's.

What did I do wrong? Hubby says it has something to do with html? I'm illiterate with that! Help1

%20 is the filler for a space for some programs (I think), and it can show up if you copy from a program like Word (or other full-featured word processor) and paste into a text editor like the review text boxes. I haven't had this problem with EF's system, but when I've had trouble with other sites, I paste into Notepad first, then copy + paste again.

Hubby told me to copy it to word, "find" all the %20's, then replace them with a space. It got rid of most of them. Ugh..

This happenned to me last week while my wireless was kind of fading in and out... I copied it into word and did find and replace. There's a feature that does it all at once for you.

No, I was writing it in the EF editor. I had saved it, then noticed something i needed to change. When I hit "edit", it went all beserk on me. It's fixed now, but took some time because "find and replace" didn't catch everything.

I've found that by using word style programs the formatting info gets copied along with the text messing things up.

My solution is to copy all from word then paste it into Notepad (or any other text program that doesn't add formatting)

Then I copy and paste it to where I want it to end up such as my blog or a review here. The fastest, quickest way I know to remove those annoying formatting do dads.

Did you let the page fully load before attempting to edit it again? That's usually how something saves it in "HTML". If it hadn't converted the HTML to the text editor, it might have happened.
