Help I chose the wrong form now what to do

Contributor: Loriandhubby Loriandhubby
Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me with a mistake I made. I started a rope review in the standard form. Big mistake! I need the extended form. Now what can I do.

I can't figure out how to convert it to extended.
Can I contact EF and they take out my review from my account so I can regrab it and start over?
Can I choose another color and put in a dislcamer about why my rope is not black but red?

Any other ideas of what I can do?

thank you for your help, lori

You may want to contact JR or an other Admin on Monday (they don't usually work on weekends, they have lives, too. ) Let him know and maybe something may be done.

I wouldn't try to write a review for a different color rope. Usually, only one review for the same product, regardless of color etc is ethically allowed from Eden.

I'd contact the Admin and they will get to in in a day or two. Mondays are really busy for them, because they have to get to all the PMs and things they got over the weekends. Your answer will come, though.

Oh, you can use a Support Ticket, or directly PM JR, Gary, Sammi or Sam or someone else with a green boarder around their pictures (these people work for Eden) from their profiles.

The Support ticket forms are available from your Dashboard when you go to your Assignment Cart page.

I know it's frustrating when you realize you had more to say than you can in the Standard form. I've had it happen, and I just ended up editing and editing until it fit.

But, if you really need the extra words, let someone who works at Eden know and they will most likely be able to fix it.

Did you submit it yet? Or is it in Limbo now?

thank you so much. I have not submitted it yet, thank goodness. i went to save the parts i have written already and the system said it could not be over 800 words. oh my gosh. i'm already to 822 and no intro. , no personal experiance, no good product description. i have a lot to still go. but what i added is great. it is all about what you can do with 35 feet of rope and safty issues that i really think need to be added due to the amount of newbe's like me using rope. i had no idea most of them untill i started researching it.

thanks again. i can't wait till monday, i'm really excited over this review

I am so sorry to disappoint you, but once you save any part of the review, whether it's the title or part of the body, it cannot be converted to a different template.

Maybe write up a thread on the forum in the BDSM category for the safety tips and link to it in your review?

Stormy is right. The good news is that you can make the Standard your own extended template. You can use bold or italics to give the titles of the sections and if you need more space to type use the experience section to continue. It works out well.

]bold|Text Here[

]italic|text here[

That is how you do bold or italic. You just want to use the brackets right, I could not since it would make my word bold or italic. I do this when I can't use the extended. I just like to be organized.

Also if you have to use standard form and want to make your own template looks at the reviews of others in the same category first. Most especially those who wrote thier reviews in standard. This way you will get a better idea of what they did with their categories i.e. what questions should you ask yourself, what you want your sections to looks like, how your review can be unique, etc.

This helps me a lot when I'm writing in the standard format. It also makes it easier to inject some humor to keep things interesting without feeling like I'm forcing it in.
