How do you choose which items to do buyouts on?

Contributor: Silverdrop Silverdrop
I'm a slow reviewer, so I try to be very sparing with my buyouts. If I can get 20% off an item in a sale, I'd rather do that than do a buyout, even though I'm paying more. But if an item is full price and I don't really want to wait for a future promotion, then I'll go ahead and do it as a buyout to get some kind of discount.

Do you do a lot of buyouts? Very few? None at all? What makes you decide to get an item as a buyout?

I decide to do a buy one on items that I need the 30% off discount. (Now, not when I first started.) Like Leaf vibe Life, Jopen Intensity, and Tentacle Jr. These are fairly expensive, so I did a buy out on them, however I usually only do one a month, if that.

I use the buyouts for anything I want that is not on sale. I do frequent reviews anyway, so this does not affect me review wise. I usually do quite a few of them per month!!

I'll do it on something I want REALLY badly, and my GC can't cover it unless I get it cheaper.

Usually the amount of reviews versus what coupons I have determine whether or not I do one.

I generally just pick whatever the most expensive item from my order is, and do that one as a buyout to knock the price down. Unless of course it's something I know I won't feel like reviewing, or there's something of similar price in my order that I know I'll be excited to review.

I just placed an order for my third and fourth buyouts ever. I know people who max out their 6 each month but I'd much rather spend a little extra and take my time with them and not feel rushed to get them done. However the two that I got this month are on items I feel I can review thoroughly and quickly.

I like doing buyouts on occasion but try not to for just in case I can't get into the review, and it takes to long.
