Spell-check function on review comments!

Contributor: FieryRed FieryRed
I just noticed a little "Spell-check" check-box beneath the review comment field, just under the usual "Notify me of replies" box. I'm excited about this, because review comments aren't editable after posting, and I hate it when I see a huge typo in the comment I just posted. Will you use it?

I searched below the "Notify me of new comments via e-mail" area on several reviews - I cannot find the "Spell-check" box you've mentioned - can you show me an example? Thanks!

Now, if only people would spell check forum posts and reviews better.

...I don't see it either, but I haven't cleared the cache in awhile. And I need some of the history that's in there right now...so until I do, I guess I won't. hahaha

I won't because spell check is enabled in my browser already. But it's a good function.

Oops--it's actually ABOVE the "Notify" check-box. It's there for me, though, just beneath the comment field for my own and others' reviews. Hmm! It could be a cache thing, like Stormy mentioned.

What's more, I just noticed today that none of my emoticons are working anymore! Could this be an attempt to keep people from point-farming by preventing them from posting nothing but an emoticon? If so, I have to say I'll miss using all the cute little animated ones available here.

I don't see it... but I use Google Chrome, so I get a red warning with each properly spelt word. Like; colour, organise, favour, tyre, cheque and the list goes on.... So spell checks and I... just don't get along. Great for those that will find it useful!

Not seeing it either, but it would be a useful feature.

I just cleared my cache two days ago, the spell-check feature must have been added after that. I don't really care about the spell-check feature - especially in reviews, some reviewers use it and their reviews were still full of mistakes; seemed like they used spell-check and didn't bother to pick the correct words.

By the way, the emoticons are working just fine!

I have noticed it as well but I have it enabled in my browser so don't use that.

Ahhh, so you use the British forms, eh? Is aluminium also unacceptable to your spell-check?

Working on another review my self, will have to check it out when I get home.
At work on my iPad right now and only have limited time.
I'm really looking forward to the spell checker, as many times as I've re-read reviews before submitting and have missed a misspelling occasionally.
Now, lets hope the spell-checker is on target and doesn't have any erroneously spelled words in it like my personal one on my own word software.

Okay, this is weird. I'm on my partner's computer, which has that damn IE for a browser--I haven't yet talked her into Firefox or Chrome. Anyway, IE has a little torn-page icon in the address bar that's supposed to fix it when a site isn't displaying correctly. I clicked mine, and my emoticons reappeared, but my spell-check button went away.
