Standard or Extended?

I'm torn. The standard format reads more like a blog post than an advertisement but the extended breaks up sections so if you are concerned about the material or clean up you can find those sections easily.

I've written both, extended for toys and a standard for lingerie. I think for items like lingerie and ticklers, collars or clamps standard is perfect. For things like realistic genitalia, extended is better because there is A LOT of information to include. Ours came with four separate pieces that need informational sections in the review.

I think it's all about preference. Now It would be seriously awesome to have a standard review template with a section cut out specifically for material. (IIRC, anyway.)

I use the Standard when it is a simple item where there isn't a whole lot to say about it, and the Extended Template would simply cause repetition.

The problem is I'm wordy and I always have to edit the hell outta my standard reviews, because they are always too long. I have to get a blog or something. (For other reasons as well.)

I have no idea how to do so.

I prefer extended because if I'm in a hurry and just want to find out specific attributes, it's easy to locate them. Although I've found some really nice standard reviews in a story-like format which is extremely entertaining.

I prefer to do extended when I can, but for some products it only allows you to do standard. It is nice if someone is quickly looking for something in particular in multiple reviews.

I never used standard. Until I feel more comfortable with review writing I'll continue to use extended.

Extended, always. I already have enough to think about because english is not my mothertongue. I don't want to forget stuff...

I greatly prefer standard, but always do extended because they get better ratings.

I prefer to write in continuous prose, so I go with the standard. I should try out the extended one day though; it might be easier just to write short, self contained, paragraphs about each attribute of a product.

I usually pick the Standard format and write my review as a modified version of the Extended one. Sometimes there's stuff I want to include that doesn't really fit anywhere in Extended or there are some sections that don't feel relevant to the item and I would prefer to just leave out.

I usually do standard since there may be something I want to talk about that doesn't fit with the extended outline.

So far, I've only used the extended template. It helps me to include everything I wanted to say!

Extended. It pushes for detail, and is easier to deliver on.

I wish the Standard format didn't cap out at 800 words or whatever it is. I would use it more if I could write more in it. I find that when I do use the Standard I really have to cut and edit to make it fit...and the review suffers. I end up using up the experience section with factual info as well, and then don't have enough room to write my full experience.

I use the Extended for the room. But I know what to include by now, and would use the Standard if it would allow me to space to say all that I need to say!

I have found that in one method I might prefer standard if the toy kinda speaks for itself but I have only used extended. I would use standard if the toy that needed it came up.

I tend to read standard reviews and think they are way too short (On average I see around 3 paragraphs) and they aren't very useful to me. Extended asks questions and kinda guides my thoughts more. Plus, if someone wants to just know how big the toy is or my personal experience, it's easier to find that in my review.
