Having a drink and being drunk while writing a review are different things. I don't see a problem with it as long as you're still making sense, don't go overboard and manage to write a good review.

I have had instances where I've been extremely tired when I wrote a review (the result was not exactly asdkfldfjadskf but it sometimes got close), but I've never done drugs or gotten drunk.

I think two of my reviews were written while tipsy. Lol, and I sent them in while still drunk I think.

When I do a review I write most of it one day and then wait until the next day to look it over with fresh eyes and add or take something away.
Now I have started a review while I was drinking but I don't think I was really drunk and then went back the next day to check everything I wrote. I would never send a review to be published while being drunk or even drinking.

I'll sometimes start a review on a night when I've have a couple of drinks but will always then check it and finish writing it at a different time.

I hardly ever have more than 2 drinks in an evening, so this hasn't been possible for me yet.
Something I learned when I used to write songs is that it's OK to do some work under the influence (of...whatever)--just be sure to go over it carefully once you're sober!
Sometimes, great ideas do come from altered states of consciousness which wouldn't have occurred to the sober mind, but also a lot of really crap ideas!

I've been on percription ritalin while reviewing. But I think that's okay.

I may or may not have. I do work on writing or art a lot easier when I'm tipsy. I would never submit it while under the influence thought.
