I'm already an Advanced Reviewer, but I keep reading about people speaking so highly of the mentor program and it's starting to make me interested.

However, I don't forsee myself getting toys that often - I'm in college and I don't have a lot of money.

Is there a minimum number of reviews we have to do? Is there a timeframe to do them in?

I know several mentors who are extremely patient and don't impose any sort of time limit on how long you're in the class and how many reviews you submit. Eden requires that you submit two reviews before you can graduate the program, and you have three weeks to submit the review (after you order it) before you start getting reminder emails.

If you're interested check it out. I'm on my second pass through the program and I have a review that my mentor and I are working on that is going to be the death of me and it may be a month before we get it sorted out. The first time I went through, I think it took me almost two months to graduate.

Be upfront in your mentor request about your circumstances. That way, the mentor can choose if their style will mesh with what you need from someone.

For me, it helped a great deal. I didn't have many toys at all, but just having someone to go to when I had questions or to ask advice from was a huge help.

Also, I believe mentors can request "push" assignments, where you can get free items on top of the one free toy a month you are already offered as Advanced.

I don't know if you can get push and advanced assignments if you are already advanced when you start the mentoring program. But if you're talking about the month wait with the advanced assignments, that kicks in after you get the toy-- it comes out to 1 a month. And you get free shipping for assignments and can add other items onto it to take advantage of that shipping!

You do not get to do both for Advanced students. It's either their free monthly or the push assignments. And if you do the push assignments, it still must be under $30 regardless of rank. With push assignments, they will have the typical 3 week due date but EF is very understanding if you can not get it done in time. Simply let JR know why.

And yes there are mentors that are willing to work at whatever your pace may be. However, I would definitely make that clear when you request one. There are mentors that expect reviews to be done in a very timely manner. Good luck.

It's one a month, but you can not request a new assignment until you turn in any previous ones.
