I just got approved to be a mentor a couple of weeks ago, and I have yet to get any students. But I keep checking the request page, because I don't want to miss it... but I'd like to know if I get some sort of email notification or something, because that would save me a lot of trouble. And same with when they submit assignments?
Do you get a notification for a student request?

Yup and yup! You should get a notification when you get a request, when you get a review submitted to you, and when they leave a comment on a review for you. Don't worry about it! Try and welcome/make friends with new users, don't just wait for them to randomly add you.

However, I almost forgot this, but I DON'T get notification when my students submit reviews to me. NEVER have. It's strange. So I have to check in daily just to see. I don't even get notified if a student requests me. I've no idea why, but most people do.
