Is it alright to go through the mentor program again even if you're already an advanced reviewer?

Contributor: Lulia Lulia
I just graduated and the program was awesome and so helpful, but I would love to apply again just to get some more feedback from another party.

I know the mentors don't receive the gift card for the advanced reviewer students, but is it alright to apply again for a different mentor? Are mentors sometimes hesitant without the gift card incentive?

Thank you kindly for your answers.

If you feel that you want to go through the Mentor program again, go right ahead! I went through the program three times and I loved each of my Mentors. They really helped me with details, my writing style, and everything in between.

I definitely think you should apply. I don't think Mentors SHOULD be hesitant if they don't get the GC. The Mentor program is to help people in their writing, not to get incentive. That is just my opinion.

I hope you apply. I recommend Beck. She is an amazing Mentor. I am also available but have only had one student. Beck is highly helpful. xoxo

Thank you so much for the reply!

I was just reading another thread and a few mentors mentioned they didn't want to take advanced reviewers due to the lack of gift card. Just thought I'd check before stepping on any toes.

Thanks again! Will definitely take a peek at Beck's profile.

Anytime!

You are not stepping on any toes. People here on EF are genuinely nice. I really love the atmosphere on this website. Everyone is very helpful.

Beck is amazing. You'll love her.

You are far too sweet! Thank you.

I am available right now if you are interested in my class. Luscious Lollypop is also a mentor. Be sure to read a mentor's profile and talk with them before sending them a request. This helps ensure you pick the right mentor for you.

I had four mentors total. Each teaches something different.

It's certainly okay to go through the mentor program multiple times. I, personally, have completed the mentor program three times. I learned something different from each one.

I've had three mentors. One was my original mentor to get me used to how things were run on the site. (sexyintexas) One was Redvinylkitty who helped me learn what I needed to include in bondage reviews. My last mentor was hotnsexytexasmama who helped me know what to include in my lingerie review. I found that each mentor has helped me become aware of the details to include in each specific type ofreview. Eventually, I'll probably ask Beck on what to include in glass reviews since she's a fan of glass and I ended up being spontanious and picked up three glass items a while back while they were on facebook promotion.

That may be the opinion of some, but that is not the case of the majority. I love helping reviewers in the mentor program regardless if they're new or advanced. I'm here to help those that want help because others have reached out to me and helped me.

I actually love to see requests from advanced reviewers. Most of the time I end up having to cancel class on them because they don't come back.

Me too!! The last few have been not available for months....I sometimes think they do it for the points or realize there is a commitment when you get assignments and do not want to deal with it. I much prefer advanced students!!! At least you know they will follow through with the classes. I love it though, when I do get a new member who is serious about the reviewing!! That is too col to teach them the aspects of the site and review process.
