I think it would be TREMENDOUSLY helpful to new contributors if a specific tab that reads something like "info for new contributors" were added to the forum.

Not sure if you know, but you can click the yellow heart next to the thread title and save this under your "Favorite discussions" tab.

Yes! There is so much information on Eden's site that it really is difficult for a newbie to find information that s/he needs.

Thank you for explaining this so thoroughly, I wish there was a link to this post (or some of this information was included) on the page for the mentor program. This was very helpful!

I definitely agree with this. I am a newbie here. I just did my first review, and was wondering how to choose a mentor - it took me a lot of digging to get to this thread! It would be a shame if people who could be interested in the program are simply giving up because they can't find the information.

Victor, Thank yo very much for putting all of this together. I made it through the Mentor program, but only because I had a great mentor that I found more by accident than by skill. We worked well together, and I learned alot. This guide would have saved me a lot of time, as I cnacelled on two earlier mentors for lack of response. They may have been on vacation and did not get my request at first, but as it turned out, all was well in the end.
This would have been very helpful.

Again, thank you.

Thank you so much! I've been waffling over joining up as a student, because I wasn't sure what the program entailed. This was exactly what I was looking for!

I have been kicking around the idea of becoming a student, but I wasn't really sure how or what it would entail. This was a great post to get more information from, so thanks for your time writing it. I am definitely going to seriously consider choosing a mentor since I have only recently written my first review and there is no harm in constructive criticism from someone experienced.

Thanks for this in depth information. I've been seriously considering taking part in the mentoring program because I'd love to expand my horizons and my writing skills. The only reason I haven't is because, honestly, I don't have a lot of experience with sex toys and whatnot. I've done two reviews on my own, but would love to try to do more with help. However, I don't really own anything else TO review...

I'm happy to learn I can go through the mentorship program without having published any review. I misunderstood before and thought it was necessary to already have written one review! I'll look into this when I've some time because I'm really struggling with writing a review
