Consolidating Blog/Websites

Spoken Pandora Spoken Pandora
I need everyone's opinion on this one. I am a newly published writer, I write for an e-zine doing book reviews, and write a lesbian sex and dating column. Erotica is my thing but I branch out into other things. It was suggested to me to have everything I do on my main website so that my readers will see everything in one place. I have already decided to link the other websites I write on to my main website. But now I want to do a blog solely dedicated to my sexual writings (reviews, sex and dating, etc.)My question is should my new blog be on my actual website or separate from the website? I had thought about linking the sex blog to a tab in my header that when you clicked on it would send you to the sex blog but I'm not sure. I use a self-hosted wordpress blog for my main website.I write under a pen name anyway and really don't care who knows what I do but should it all be separated? I can do the stuff pertaining to my book and my book review column on my main website and maybe a separate for sex that links to the main site IDK. Sending up virtual smoke signals HELP!!! Any suggestions?

for whatever my opinion is worth, I would evaluate the main agenda for each site, then keep separate agendas on different sites, and basically advertise on each site for your other sites.

just be sure to not duplicate any content due to google rank.

I struggle with decisions such as these, and my main decision making process right now is to essentially write a business plan for each site for my own benefit to keep things on track and not jump all over the place.

you can even try differnt options out and then decide based on analytics for evaluation of what is and isn't working
