Off Site Reviews

Does anyone know who publishes the off site reviews? I did one a few days ago, and it was not sponsored. Just not sure why it still is not up?

They have to be read through then approved. I have had some take about 4 days.

I see that you have posted a similar thread as well and while I know sometimes waiting for reviews to post can make you anxious, the staff of EF are not around 24/7 and sometimes it's a littler.. nicer just to be patient.

With that said, Gary has addressed this issue in a few forum posts, some of which are recent (you can search the forum with the search bar up top). Here's a direct quote from one such thread:

The basic gist of the process is covered in the Review Program Guidelines...

Not Assigned Reviews (aka "Not verified", Basic and Advanced Levels ):
" ...you have the ability to publish the review yourself by clicking "Continue". The review will then go live on the site, and you can find it on your contributor page, on the product page, and under the type of product on the sex toy review page "

Assigned reviews (verified):
" ...Once it is approved, it will be published on the website within a week or two. If after 3 weeks, you do not see your review live on the site, please feel free to contact the review program staff."

MOST, Not Assigned automatically publish (but there a few here and there that need to be manually processed). ALL Assigned Reviews are manually processed.

Considering that 6 months ago our average was somewhere around 130-140 reviews a week, and lately we have over 200 reviews a week coming in, it takes a lot more time each week to process them all.

I hope this helps to clear up any confusion about the process.

Thanks Adriana, for posting that info.

The key part of that info is that it can take a while to get caught up during times when we have many reviews submitted at once. Last week we had over 250 reviews submitted so the delay is greater than usual.

As the guidelines say, it can take up to three weeks for reviews to appear on the site. This is not usually the case, of course, but generally, we ask that you wait for that amount of time before assuming something is wrong and contacting us to ask about it.

Usually, if there is a problem, you will hear from us before then. 99% of the time, it's just a matter of getting through all the reviews in the que.
