Has it been confirmed that Stormy was getting personal abuse for the point changes or is this just baseless Internet speculation that's spiralling out of control? Right now it seems that one or two people have jumped to a conclusion and that second-hand info is being taken as Gospel truth as to what's actually happened.

At the risk of derailing this 'Goodbye' thread, surely any attacks on an EF member (never mind a Mod) mean that the guilty parties (rightfully) have their accounts terminated?

I think it's Stormy's place to confirm or deny any rumours and she might not even want to. Until then, we should avoid the speculation, mob mentality and witch-hunts and stick to us saying our goodbyes to someone who has helped to keep the Community side of EF running for so long.

Well even though I didn't know you Stormy, I did get to see some of your posts and you hosting the St. Patrick's day party. The party was awesome by the way and I hope you had as much fun working on it as I did attending. I hope that people talking bad to you personally is just a myth and that you're leaving because you want to and you have something even more great to spend your time on. The only thing I regret is not getting you know you better.

Cheers to you for your hard work as an admin for a year!

ok i have a horrible headache and it is getting difficult to read so i will read the rest of this thread later but
I was shocked by the new site but i would never hold it against anyone! changes happen, that's life.
Where will stormy be going next? will she keep in contact with people who want to stay "friends" with her.

It is sad to see Stormy go I only spoke with her a couple of times but she seemed so friendly. Such a shame the way that the point change started such an uproar. Personally I feel people should be happy that there is even still a point system in the first place.

although i havent had time to interact with Stormy one-on-one, she seems like a total sweet hear and i know many are sad to see her go. I hope they she will still stick around as a member and make post/reviews every so often as they're always great. Good luck to you Stormy and i wish you the best!

Stormy has been wonderful to me in the few one on one interactions we have had on the site. I can only imagine how tough it must be, being an admin for a website, especially when there is negative feedback thrown at you from people who don't care what they say on the internet. I deal with people on the phones yelling at me because of their bank accounts, and I know how stressful it can be working with people who are upset. I think the changes Eden is going through will ensure they will be around for a lot longer, but not everyone can be happy about those changes. Stormy has done so much for the community, and I'm relieved to hear she will still be part of this community.

So it is, that the greatest Contributors, like (Sam (aka Jul!a)' and now 'Stormy', who we are lost at this time, are some of the best people who have made a significant impact to the growth and development of the Eden Fantasys community! They will both be missed! I think that the changes that Eden has been experiencing will 'not' be a positive development to the overall program as we know it today. Shall I mention the Points Program, as an example!
