The editing rotation won't be occurring until later this month, but I wanted to remind you that if you plan to apply for the next rotation, you should get your application in before April 20th. Also, please watch for an email from me with the editing test attached - you must complete and return the test to be considered.

I applied and took the test in early March. Do I have to apply again? I was just about to e-mail you again about my results, Sammi. You let me know you got my test answers, but didn't say anything else. I thought I just had to wait...

She will send out an email at the end of April when she announces the new editors. You will either get an email saying congratulations and info on what is expected as an editor or thank you try again next time.

I haven't sent any out, so the email you got must be for SexIs.

As unfulfilled said above, the emails will go out at the end of April when I do the rotation. The applications go on file for roughly a 3 month period, and the exams are graded, but the notifications for accept and decline go out when the rotation actually occurs. You can't reapply if your application is on file until it's declined, but if it is, then you can reapply for the next round and you'll be sent the next test.

I hope that makes sense!

I think so. Thanks for letting me know which one was replying. I don't think it stated it in the e-mail as it was a generic one.

It doesn't state which one currently, so it can be confusing . The easiest way to tell if you aren't sure is to look in your dashboard, where you apply for the programs. If you have an application submitted, it will say the submission date, and it won't give you the option to apply.

Hmmm. My page under 'Waiting for approval' says "Current request July 10 2012" but I applied and took the test in Feb of this year

My Dashboard is displaying a similar result. Perhaps it can only display the first time of applying to the Review proofreading program

If she is the one that takes the test, then yes, she can do the editing if you've got a joint account.

The date shown is always the date you first applied for the program. Even if you've applied or been part of a rotation since then, each time you submit an application, it's that initial date that's shown. It's a bit confusing, but as long as it shows "waiting for approval", then you've applied for the next round

I submitted a request February 16, 2013, with no response and no editing test. Have I neglected to include some pertinent information, or is this just the way it works? Sorry for my newbie question
