Hello Everyone!It is my pleasure to announce that you, our wonderful Eden Community, have reached a quite impressive milestone. Our Review Program has now officially reached, (and quickly surpassed) 50,000 reviews! This is a most outstanding achievement, and you should all feel very excited and proud about this accomplishment. To all of the reviewers who started out in the very beginning of the Review Program, all the way to the newest reviewers who are just now submitting their first reviews; Thank you & Congratulations to all of you!The EdenFantasys Review Program started out four years ago this month. The very first assignments were shipped out in late December of 2007, and the earliest reviews were submitted and published in the beginning of 2008. Since then, both the Review Program and the Community have grown and evolved so much. What started out as a simple structured basic review platform has now expanded to include: Offsite reviews, Not Assigned reviews, Follow-up reviews, Extended Format reviews, Description reviews, Sponsored reviews, Video reviews, Blogger Testimonials, the Mentor Program, and the Eden Tasks Proofreading Program.The main goal of the Review Program has always been to provide our customers with as much product information as we can, especially when there is quite often lack of this information available on most manufacturers' packaging. By adding a structured review for each product, we have been able to pass along more meaningful information to the customers. The reviews provide the reviewers personal experience, detailed product and material information, safety suggestions, and in some cases even make comparisons between similar products. With this additional information, the consumers can easily find a product to suit their individual needs and preferences; just by reading the reviews available for each product.To celebrate this grand occasion, we have a number of cool things in store for you.• Starting on Monday, December 5th, and ending late on Sunday December 12th, we will be having a 'Double Points' week. All of the activities that you earn Eden Points for will be doubled in value for the week (just like during the EF move to Atlanta). • Next, there will be a '50,000 Reviews' Party on Thursday Dec 08th at 7pm EST, with prizes, trivia, fun and merriment for all. • We will then be posting a thread to collect everyone's stories, experiences, ideas, and suggestions, about their participation in the Review Program. And then finally Carrie Ann (one of our very first reviewers), will be collecting snippets of your posts and activities throughout the week and compiling them into a piece for Eden Cafe about the Review Program and this Milestone.
