Hey everyone,

Gary, Sammi, Carrie Ann and all of the rest of the admins are amazing and extremely well-liked and very good at what they do. I don't personally have all of the details but I do know that their absence is no reflection of this.

So what's going to happen in the meantime?

I have temporarily joined the rank and file again to help you all transition over to a new community staff. I will answer any questions you have regarding programs and upcoming changes.

Weekly events will still be happening as will things like Flash Your Stash. I need to meet with Fred to discuss things like slideshows and videos but I'm pretty sure those are still going to be a large part of the site.

It's scary as hell, right? There is a master plan and things will be back on track soon enough. What I need from you all right now is to hang tight and dig in your heels. It might get a little bumpy, but it would really be a great testament of respect to Gary and Carrie Ann and Sammi if you continue to be awesome contributors and stick it out with us. That is truly what they worked so hard to build and it would be a shame to see it all go down the drain.

So hit me up, either in private message or email at stormy@edenfantasys.co m if you have any questions or concerns and I'll address them there.

I couldn't leave you guys hanging...just couldn't. I consider Sammi and Gary to be very good friends and we're still keeping in touch.

I have faith that everything will work out. Part of that depends on you guys and I'm really hoping you won't let me down.

Thank you or sticking around a little longer stormy!! I'm hating all of this, i loved all the admins, I'll stick around and see what happens though.

I HATE to see that these AMAZING people are no longer going to be working for Eden, but I have faith that together. we'll get through this.

It's great to see you back! I'm a bit lost, so forgive me when I ask:

-Why is everyone leaving?

-Know anything about the new folks coming in? Are the new peeps already part of Eden and are just coming into this part of Eden?

-Any rough time frame on things? Weeks or months?

Thanks again for coming back. It's great to have familiar faces around during the change! Awesome for you to do this

Did you get the message I sent to you yesterday?

I've been seen worse shake ups than this with other major companies in my day and things always level out in the end. This is why I'm so calm about everything but I realized yesterday that you all were going to have a very difficult time with this transition and I offered to help.

We're not going to be doing the whole dog and pony show for the time being but I will try to keep as much normalcy happening for you all as I can.

Stormy I am upset that I did not get a pm from anyone yesterday I feel that I am not valued as a member of this community. I have been on here two years and do just as much as anyone else. Why was I not included in this message?

Change is hard, especially when there is so much that we don't know. Is it just the staff that is changing, or are there going to be more changes within the points program and such?

Staff, mostly. There will be changes to review templates but Fred outright approved the new points plan so I don't see that changing again any time soon.

I pretty much think no matter how this all went down it was going to be a huge shock to the system for everyone involved and there is no right way or wrong way of letting this cat out of the bag.

Well I would like to think so and I hope everything gets worked out and back in working order soon.

This is a big shock for everyone and I hope it does not get to overwhelming for you because everyone is going to have questions and are going to want answers.

I didn't receive any message about this either. I'm not upset about that, but I am kind of in the dark, just like everyone else.

Reading between the lines a little, it seems that many of the functions which have previously been done by paid staff will now be done by volunteers, i.e., Eden contributors? Is that correct, Stormy?

What Stormy posted above at the start is basically what it was. Those that got it know nothing more than anyone else.

So there was a list? Does this mean that those not on the list (like myself) aren't important? Why wasn't everyone sent that message?

I'm thinking and hoping another post will be made when you know what's going on? I mean I have students asking what's going on with getting assignments and I have nothing to tell them other than I have absolutely no idea.

I'm kind of scratching my head about this list that some people were supposedly on to get a message about this. I'm in the same boat as everyone else who didn't make the list, I guess. Just wondering what's going on.

Re: the PM list

Don't get too worked up over not getting the PM. The PM was the same message Stormy put in the original post. None of us know anything more than anyone else, whether we got a PM or not. I promise!

We all know Eden suffers from its fair share (or more than fair share) of technical glitches. I'm sure this is just proof of yet another of them.
