I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not really worried about whether anyone has more information than I do. It'll all come out in time. What bugs me is the existence of this mythical list in the first place, and that for some reason certain contributors are better or more important than others and therefore garner special treatment for it. That, and it was pretty explicitly told to the community at large that such an elitist list exists with no qualms about how it would appear to the rest of the community.

Excuse me if I am wrong--but I understood 'The List' to be a list of ALL current members of EF. Those who did not receive the memo were part of an update glitch, please check the forums since an error or two were brought up for discussion that may have had some bearing on receiving or not receiving the memo. I doubt there is a secret list of members that receives things other members do not--this is a community that has a mass mailing system in place....there is no way in hell Stormy or anyone else could ever personally message each and every member on the site or even a partial group....there are thousands of active members.

As a member here for a couple years, there have been times I have not received the emails or messages from the site or other members. When I asked the administrators--they found a glitch and I was not the only one it had happened with either. Keep in mind that when you are dealing with a large number of people and one message system, there will be overloads to the allowed bandwidth that will negate the receival of information--whether it is a message, update or order.....(I had to deal with this when I was on the local business internet informational committee. It was difficult to chose a plan with a large bandwidth but be cost effective for the community as well.)

Ok I have been here since 2009, I have been involved in every single program and won damn near every award offered. I have written over 400 reviews that were very well received and I talk to members of the staff nearly every day and have for years. I did not receive an email, pm or any special knowledge of this other than what was publically posted.

If Stormy says there was a glitch then this should be your proof. No one here is believed to be more important than anyone else so unwind your underpants and take a deep breath. This has been a massive shock through the whole company and there are those who see this as a time to air their grievances and swoop in for the kill. Let's not turn on each other and give them the satisfaction of seeing us do their dirty work for them.

For crims sake this is a community and in what community does EVERYONE know EVERYTHING that goes on? In your jobs are you privy to EVERYTHING the minute it happens? No you are not and it's silly to decide that anyone is singling you out just because you didn't get an email, PM or special treatment. Neither did I!

This will either pass or it won't but it was not a personal slight against anyone it was a glitch plain and simple.

Stormy, thanks for keeping us in the loop during the transition and hanging in there as well. Having been through many many corporate changes in my business career I understand the apprehension this causes but also realize change is necessary in all walks of life. If there is anything I can do to help, let me know, I'm sure many others feel the same way.

I am sad some of the people I've enjoyed, looked up too and respected are no longer with us as they once were.

But as with every growth there comes change.

Lots of these changes are happening all at once... And as much as I am as nervous about them as the next person.... I am very curious to see what will be (queue the music and sing with me now.... Whatever will be will be the future's not ours to see... Rings kind of true here doesn't it?)

Speaking for myself here, I am choosing to be optimistic. I've put my sex toy faith in EF before and wasn't let down then, and even through all the changes I've seen and been a part of for the past few years... EF still came out swinging like a bear high on Red Bull. So I am making the choice to see the lube bottle as half full rather than half empty.

I'm sorry if my previous post ruffled some feathers.

I started to cite comments and quotes that led me to see the situation the way I do, but that's not going to do anyone any good. It's a minor detail of the situation, and ultimately it really doesn't matter. We're in a state of flux, and not everyone is going to like the way every aspect is handled. I'll live.

Stormy, thanks for all you're doing in helping us through this transition. I don't for a minute think that you personally intended to single out or exclude anyone. I know you're trying to make the best of a rough situation for everyone, and I do appreciate all you do.

Can't wait for things to settle down. Since I joined EF (not all that long ago) it's been nothing but constant change - it's definitely hard to get used to. Just as I think I have things figured out, it's all yanked out and changed again...and then I figure out who I'm supposed to talk to regarding things and they disappear abruptly. I have faith things will all settle down in some shape or form. I just hope it's one that all the members are happy with - as I said I haven't been here long, but it's very easy to see this is a very beloved place for many of the members here and I'd hate to see that taken away from those who have been here long term and have contributed so much. And, I'd hate as a new member to end up feeling this isn't the place for me, as so far I've felt very welcome here and quite enjoy participating as much as I'm able to.

the list was not all current members. in fact it was to "...a small number of the most valued contributors..."

I don't know. Lots of Drama. A safe place that we all love is in great turmoil. I personally haven't had terrible issues here at Eden. Yes, it is a community but it is also a business, and honestly Eden has been great to me. I have shopped at some of the other large sex toy sites and they claim to give you things which you never get and your prices change on items in your cart when you are shopping. This has never happened to me at Eden, they have always honored their sales and prices. They have always sent me assignments when they said they would.

I am very happy with Eden's customer service. At times, yes the frustrations are high. But overall for an internet business and community Eden does rock! We are just upset that our wonderful admin are gone. This has happened to all of us in all the aspects in our life, come on your hairstylist moves away, your doctor doesn't take your insurance we have all lost business contacts that we love.

I am not saying that I agree and I am not saying that it is all kittens, puppy dogs, and balloons. But, for an internet based business Eden has been much better than most!

No, no catfood. The plan is to make things a hell of a lot more customer-oriented and focus on your shopping and reviewing experiences. There were a lot of projects left on the burners and those things are still moving forward.

I know you all are really concerned about the changes and it's totally understandable and I'm giving you all of the information I have.

I would like to know when my already submitted DR assignment reviews will be published, I submitted them weeks ago and sent in support tickets about it and haven't gotten anything back about it other than "there are some waterproof/splashproof technicalities we're working on". Which means what exactly since I already fixed those issues and resubmitted??

Also, I made a big order a couple days ago and have never had it go on this long "in processing" and the estimated delivery date changed to a day later. Am I getting the things I ordered or is it a lost cause at this point because of everything going on?

I submitted a DR review over a month ago and it hasn't been published and I haven't heard anything about it at all, so as far as I know there wasn't an issue with it. I'm curious what will happen with the reviews that haven't been published yet. It's a little frustrating having to wait to long.

It really is and with everything going on recently with the admins being fired, it doesn't make it any easier to deal with.

I ordered a package last week and someone canceled it. Now the stuff I want is out of stock and I have to wait to reorder it. I have no idea why they canceled it in the first place.
