Do you down rate for blurry pictures?

Heck no! I care about the review, not the pictures. Pictures are just a little something extra that aren't necessary to me, so I don't tend to care if they are blurry or not.

I don't usually put pictures in my reviews, so I won't down vote anyone who takes the time to put in photos, no matter the quality.

Thanks!

If the review was really well written, then no. They were trying to be helpful. They just didn't have the means to take great pictures. lol

The fact that some people would down vote a review because of photos makes me worried to even add photos-- which should just be a bonus since they arent required.

I don't think blurry pictures would matter unless you were stressing something and the photo was the only way to fully show the problem. Like a poor make. If I can't see what you are trying to show me it really doesn't help me.

Hey BadAss, i would say it does not make me down rate someone if the review is exceptionally great but pics are little blurry, but when i se so-so review and horrible pics when you can barely see the product, taken from the bad cell phone - then yes.
I Just don't see the point of posting bad pics, and yes, they are part of the review! A lot of the time it gives me an impression that people just trying to earn eden points fast by posting a lot of bad pics...
I just joined reviewers community, but i pledge to quality photos.

if the pics are that bad then yes i do... dont try to fill your review in and make it look bigger by throwing a bunch of crap pics in there.. if you're going to show pictures of the item then make sure they are clear enough to see ... but if the review is really great and holds its own regardless of the pics then i can ignore them

Generally not, unless they completely ruined the review.

It's always nice when the pictures are clear, but I don't rate down for the pictures. I rate the review as a whole.

I don't judge based JUST on the pictures. But they're definitely a contributing factor... However if the rest of the review is awesome, I won't knock off any points.

I wouldn't down rate for bad images. But, if they were horribly blurry or you couldn't tell what's going on in the image, I might just skip the review. To me pictures are extremely important, that's why I go out of my way and mount and off camera flash and edit them later and try to make them appealing to the best of my ability, so people can have a better idea of what the product is like IRL.
