So, I've been trying to up my rating/ranking lately and been participating in the forums more, voting/commenting on my reviews and other members' reviews, and reviewing extra items...with no change at all. How long does it take for the ratings to change?

I apologize if this has been asked before...I couldn't seem to find the answer anywhere!

It really depends. The biggest thing that changes rank are the reviews: the quality, the amount, the turnout. Participating is very good though, because that does help it too!

Also, I was wondering...I just posted a new review and it published immediately! However, I have one I did a couple nights ago that is still not published...What's up with that?

Rank doesn't normally change on the weekends and, with the high activity we have lately, it changes slowly.

The only reviews that publish immediately are non verified. Chances are the one you did a few nights ago is a verified, assigned review - or it's on the list of things that have to be checked even if they're non verified. Like condoms, for some reason.

Just keep doing what your doing and your rank will raise -- it just takes a bit.

Thank you, Carrie Ann! That's all good information to have I wasn't aware of any of that. And you're dead on. I didn't notice that the only new review that didn't post immediately was the verified one. Thanks very much!

Sometimes I will notice a change in a day and sometimes it takes a few. Be patient . There is a break down that matters in more categories. You could focus on those.

Oh. I actually was wondering about my rank too. I posted a new review a couple days ago, have been active on the forums, and commented on reviews. I was starting to think it was impossible. Glad to know it's just the Holiday season. Thanks for the information.
