Proof reading

I have OCD, so I'll proof read my stuff for at least five or six times.

I rarely ever poof read.

I have a Wordpress plugin that does my spelling/grammar proofreading for me now, before I didn't do it at all. Bet the editors wanted to strangle me. -laughs-

Generally twice.

Pretty much never.

I can't believe the mistakes I'm reading lately in reviews by folks who have scores over 5.5 ~ frequently it is a word but it is out of place or the wrong word. I read one review today where they repeated a phrase a couple of times - it was like they put it in for their notes (about it not having any taste) and then wrote a sentence and didn't take out the phrase "did not have any taste" so its there like twice.

I know I'm definitely not perfect but it makes me so grateful that I'm still needing editors to read my reviews and catch those flaws.

I read it over a couple times while I have it in word, and then one last time once I format it.

I constantly reread, tweak and run my reviews through word processing software. I make sure I can read through it at least 3 or 4 times without making ANY changes before I publish it. I also have my man look over them too, because sometimes you read what you think you typed, whereas someone with fresh eyes will read what's actually there.

I'm definitely not perfect, but I try really hard to keep typos and other glitches out of my reviews as much as I can.

Twice for me!

I try to read mine a few times as I am writing it then again before I send it to my mentor. I know that I am not perfect but I hope mine are not to bad to read.
