SEXIS writers should get a ranking!

I just found myself distracted reading a couple of SEXIS articles. They were very well written and enjoyable. I haven't been on SEXIS as much as I'd like to be. Then I flipped back to the profile page and found that the author - Elizabeth Black has a ranking of 0.0 despite several articles.

This makes me SAD!

A reviewer's ranking? Not sure I understand the thinking behind that.

SexIs articles aren't included in the EF reviewer ranking. Most of the authors are writers, sex educators, etc who are not reviewing contributors here so I'm sure they don't mind.

I know they aren't. Given the last controversy over the ratings, setting that off again would be the last thing that I want. However ratings are partially generated by activity. Some of them are. Newme21 does both I think, and I have a certain amount of interest in writing although I haven't pursued it. It just makes me sad that there isn't more recognition of there value in this new aspect of Eden. A lot of people here are very competitive over their rankings.

Very few people cross over from the reviewing community to SexIs. It would actually be unfair to have rank advance for those who do as the two are very separate and, while all of us have been given the opportunity to participate in SexIs, there are separate standards that have to be met and not everyone who reviews will meet them.

As for the current writers and their lack of rank, I really don't think they're bothered by it.

A ranking system for SexIs alone would be sort of neat, though, to see who the favored writers are. I'd love to see commenting enabled, too. Ah, well. They're at work on some changes so perhaps some day.

We have? I know this isn't the issue but I was under the impression it was invitation only.
