Still a bit confused on the rating program

Hey everyone! Even though I have been around for awhile, I haven't been really active in the forums. Could that be what is keeping my rating fairly low? What other activities can help boost my rating? I would love to eventually be accepted into the EdenTasks program, but I'm sure my rating is keeping that from happening So, what else can I do to get me up there in the rankings? Thanks a bunch everyone!

This is the ranking breakdown:

Average review usefulness determined by votes (34%)
Writing reviews (28%)
Number of comments on your reviews (9%)
Number of ratings on your reviews (9%)
Average editorial vote (4%)
Writing follow-up reviews (4%)
Answering questions on your reviews (2%)
Posting comments on the reviews of other contributors (2%)
Creating new discussions (2%)
Making posts in discussions (2%)
Time in community (2%)
Number of discussion posts from other contributors on the discussions created by you (2%)

Forum posts only count for about 6% of your entire ranking. So, really, the biggest factor of your rating is reviews; the more you write, and the better you write, the higher your rank will go!

basically it comes down to

Have you written a lot of reviews?

Are they good?

Have a lot of people voted on them?

The best way to improve your ranking, assuming your reviews are good, is to write more and find ways of getting people to read, rate and comment on them. increasing followers helps, as does reviewing one, or popular toys.

While interacting in the forums won't help contribute much to your ranking, it will get people's attention and lead to new followers who may read and comment on your reviews.

Thank you!!! My reviews are consistently ranked as extremely useful, so I guess I just need to keep reviewing and giving input Thanks again!

Another factor the rating takes into account is the activity of others on the site compared to you. Such as, if you suddenly stopped writing reviews and posting on the forums, but yet other people started doing this more, you might see your rank suddenly drop. I'm not 100% sure on how this works and if I explained it correctly but it is something along those lines.

I have found as the higher my rank gets, the long it takes to get a higher rank level.

Another note is that it only takes into consideration the past year, so if you've got any old reviews that drop off, your rank might suddenly drop, too.

Writing reviews is the main thing with the rank and how they are voted. The more reviews you write that have consistent EU votes then your rank will go up.
