I'm returning to this site after several years and I've been downgraded to a 'writer' despite having a rank of 5.6...

not sure how I reactivate my review program status and start getting assignments again

can anyone help? :S

I would suggest joining the mentor program. A mentor is an advanced reviewer who can introduce you to any changes made in recent years. The reviews you write in the mentor program will be reviewed by your mentor and you will receive suggestions or corrections if necessary. Once you graduate from the review program after writing at least two reviews that are approved by your mentor, you can become an advanced reviewer and request free assignments.

so you mean despite the fact I've done 46 friggin reviews and have no toys to currently review that I already haven't, I'm expected to dance through the hoops and pay out the nose for stuff off here so that I can start reviewing assignments again?

While you are speaking to Lena, just ask her to change your profile from writer to reviewer. Being marked as a writer doesn't mean you can't do reviews. I have read some of your reviews and hope to see a new one soon.

I'm in a similar boat. I used to write reviews on here but my life feel apart soon after and I didn't have time to devote to the site, even though I loved it. I didn't even know the review program was still around until I saw it mentioned on Instagram.

I want to get back into it but its been so many years, I don't even know how to check what my status is, ie writer, advanced, etc.
