Okay so I'm not sure if I'm on the right forum for this, but I recently wrote a review for my first free product I received as an advanced reviewer but the assignment is still listed in my assignment cart. The review was for the Spellbound G vibrator and it is up on my profile. I got to the initial writing template via the "write review" button in the assignment cart, so I'm confused as to why it's say I haven't done it yet.

When I tried to sign up for a new product to review, it said I hadn't completed my first free review so I couldn't get another one. Is there any way I can change it so it registers that I completed the assignment?

I hope this makes some sense, I'm going on two hours of sleep.

Thanks!

In your account dashboard there are two assignment areas. The assignment cart, where things go after you've "grabbed" them and where you request them from. There is also the assignment list, where assignments from your cart go once requested and approved. It's from the assignment list, not the assignment cart, that you need to write the review.

Product used to vanish from the cart once it went over to the assignment list but lately has been staying in both places sometimes, causing some confusion.

Next time, just make sure you're in your assignments list, not your assignment cart. For now, I'm cancelling the assignment since you did the review from the cart, not the list. So you did the review, just shows up as unassigned rather than assigned. Assignment requests are in the cart, assigned items in the list.

If it happens again, just email Gary@edenfantasys and he can fix it up for you.

Hopefully tech will be clearing up the glitch soon and it won't happen so often then.

You should be good to request your next assignment whenever your date rolls around now.

If it's any consolation I messed up and posted my last sponsored review from my cart instead of the assignment list as well and I've been around here for quite some time.

This is actually a common issue, so don't feel too bad.

Carrie Ann is exactly right, the problem happens when your assignment does not disappear from the cart when it's moved to the assignment list. It happens to new folks like you AND people who have been doing reviews for months and months. So don't feel bad at all.

Just email Gary and he will cancel the assignment.

TO EVERYONE: If you submit a review and find you've done it from the wrong list and your assignment is still listed as incomplete, preventing you from requesting a new assignment... DO NOT resubmit your review. This results in two, duplicated reviews and, well, extra work for Gary. Contact Gary, as Carrie Ann mentioned, and he will cancel the assignment.

If you have already submitted a second, duplicated review, what will happen is you will see the 2nd review declined. I usually send out an email explaining why, but sometimes you see the decline message first and, of course, wonder why.

And, like Carrie Ann said, hopefully this glitch will disappear soon under the magic hands of our fabulous tech guys. Till then, just make sure you are writing all reviews from the Assignments List not the Assignments Cart.

I am bumping this post to the top in hopes that more people will read it. We have had another group of reviews being submitted twice.

Please DO NOT resubmit your review to clear it out from your assignment list.

We do hope the assignment cart issue will be resolved soon, but until then, rather than resubmit a review, please contact either Gary or myself to take care of it.

Thanks!
