One assignment at a time?

Miss Alice Miss Alice
Hi everyone, nice to meet you! Since I was just upgraded this weekend and received my first assignment this afternoon, everything is still very new for me, so I'll apologize if this question has been asked before (and before and before!). From what I understand, you can only have one assignment at a time, which makes sense. However, now that I have an assigned product, do I continue to make requests or do I wait until I have submitted the review on my current assignment?

Again, sorry if this is redundant. Thanks for your patience with us newbies!

You will not be able to request more products until you have finished your current assignment or 30 days have passed, whichever is later. This is in the guidelines for the usual Assigned Reviews. Other types of assigned reviews which do not have a once-per-30-days rule can be requested only after the current review assignment of that type is turned in.

Thank you! I vaguely recall the 30 days rule, so thank you for clarifying.

Just to be clear...

- You cannot make an assignment request until you complete your current assignment and submit the review.

- You cannot request an item sponsored by Eden Fantasys more than once a month.

- There is no 30 day limit on items that are sponsored by manufacturers (NOT Eden Fantasys). These can be found in your contributor product search by choosing filters.

You mentioned vaguely recalling the Review Program Guidelines. It might be a good idea to take another look at them. Most of the Review Program questions I answer everyday are right there in the Guidelines.

I love bullet points, this was great! I really have looked over the Review Program Guidelines many times, but still felt a bit lost, so a nice concise list works much better for me. Thank you!

You can have only one assignment at once. Before you can request another you have to submit your review.

So does this mean while I'm waiting for my Eden sponsored item to arrive, I can request a manufacturer sponsored item?

I am pretty sure you can only have one thing out at a time, but in between EF sponsored items you can request manufacturer sponsored items.

This is my official response to this question. Someone may notice I've cut and pasted it from another thread, but rather than reinvent the wheel...

Sponsored assignments: Regardless of sponsorship (Eden Fantasys, Evolved, Tantus or Santa Claus) are available one at a time. You must finish your review of a sponsored item before requesting a new one. Only Eden Fantasys sponsored items are subject to the 30 day delay.

Description assignments: Only available to those who are a part of the DR program, but you may have one DR assignment out in addition to the sponsored assignment mentioned above.

Buyout assignments: These are also available, one at a time, in addition to the Sponsored assignment mentioned above.

Hope this helps clarify things.

Yes, it clears things up very much. Thank you for that! I can always count on you to set us straight.

Yes, this keeps everything in check. Imagine if we were able to have as many assignments as we wanted? There would be be no toys left.
