After receiving an assignment, how long do you take to write review?

Contributor: Checkmate Checkmate
I seem to take along time to write a review after receiving an assignment. I like to give the item several tries first, especially if it is an item I am not crazy about.

How soon after receiving an assignment do you usually submit a review?

It depends on how busy I am from work and school. Sometimes I will write my review within the first week, sometimes it takes me a few weeks.

It totally depends. It depends on how busy I am and how I feel about the toy.

Usually 1-2 weeks. My assignments get pushed to the top of my testing list. I use the assigned product pretty much as my only toy (unless it doesn't work or needs a paired toy) for at least a few days using it once or twice a day. Usually this gives the toy anywhere from 4-8 uses before review. If I'm unsure for some reason I'll give it longer. I use my toys a lot so testing doesn't take too many days because of the regular use.

My assignments are first priority when it comes to reviewing. But so far I've only ever reviewed lingerie as assignments and that isn't as hard to test out as a toy.

It usually takes me a month turn-around until I'm comfortable enough to thoroughly speak on using the product. One reason for that is that I just can't have sex every night

i used to be pretty bad about it and got those friendly reminders but i've learned to budget my time a little better now and i've got a whole bucketful of time devoted to this site each day, so this will no longer be an issue.

in general, i can turn around a review the next day if i want to. if it's a piece of crap and i know it is, i just get it over with. if it has potential, i put it through a few different tests. if it's good good good, it'll probably be reviewed sooner if i feel confident enough to do so.

I usually give it a week and a half to 3 weeks depending on how busy my life is and if I'm recovering from using an item or having rough sex.

Usually on toys it's 1-2 weeks. Porn is often 3 weeks, because it can take a while to get through a whole movie. Also, on Porn Club reviews I often wait until after the meeting before finishing up the review, even if that's more than 2 weeks.

I try to write my reviews within a week.

I like to have used it at least 2 or 3 times, and then once I start the review I realize I need to try it again to refresh my memory and make sure I'm being totally accurate. So the process takes 2-3 weeks from when I receive the item.

I try to get mine done within a week tops, if it is any later it goes to the back of my mind and i completly forget about it.

1-2 weeks or longer depending on the product. If it's a simple product with not much to it then it wont take long to explore it and write a review. But for something more advanced that has a lot of features then I will take my time, use it many times before actually writing a review.

It really depends! I try and start the review right when I receive it (as to help defeat the procrastination monster in my head) and then just edit and add to it with my experience.

It just depends on if i feel like typing a lot or not at that moment.

I like to give all items a good week or more before reviewing them. I just don't feel I have given something enough time if I've only owned it a few days.

Since today or Saturday I should be receiving my 2nd free assignment, I can say that it really depends on the product. Before I even receive this 2nd assignment I can easily start writing the review, but only with things like the ingredient list, allergy concerns etc. Basically getting a head start, but I will be using the product a few times at least before I start writing about how it works/performs.

My assignments are top of my list upon arrival. I get them done ASAP, but not until proper testing is done.

1-2 weeks for assignments but of course that's after making sure I've used them enough to have a good feel of them before reviewing.

Anywhere from 1-3 weeks. It just depends on what's going on in my life at the moment. The assignments always are my top priority, so I work on getting them done before other reviews.

It really depends on what the item is. If it's lingerie, I take longer because I put it through hell first. Even if I don't always say that in my reviews. For my DR reviews, I have to get on those ASAP.

It varies. I won't write a review until I feel comfortable with an item. My first free assignment review took me about 4 weeks to even start writing. My last one, however, only took about a week.

I try to get it done as soon as possible, but with my health, sometimes sex is out of question, so I'd say 2-3 weeks. The question is, how much time do you actually have to write reviews? I get anxious about not being able to test the product because I'm too exhausted that week...
