As most of you already know there are a lot of changes taking place, and this week the most significant of these changes is the end of the old ‘Surprise Me’ assignments and the beginning of the new sponsored assignments.
‘Surprise Me’ assignments will no longer be processed. Surprise me buttons will no longer do anything, and will eventually be completely removed during a future update. From now on, ALL review will be sponsored reviews.
A review that is sponsored by Eden Fantasys, will work exactly like a regular assigned review. You may only request one review assignment every 30 days that is sponsored by Eden Fantasys.
What used to be called a ‘Surprise Me’ review will now also be called a sponsored review. The only difference here is that these reviews will NOT be sponsored by Eden Fantasys, but by another company. When you request a review assignment that is NOT sponsored by Eden Fantasys, it will not count towards your - one request every 30 days limit.
The ability for you to request sponsored review assignments is now functioning! A few of these have even been assigned already. You will be able to use the product search in your contributor account to find what products are available. All (non Eden Fantasys) sponsored products are available in limited quantities and will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. So if your request is declined, that means that some one else already requested it.
Eventually there will a listing made available, as we add new outside sponsored products, but for now you will be able to find all of them in your product search.
