We know this will sound greedy, but we just love trying out new toys and love getting stuff in the mail.

We recently requested to have a Manufacturer Sponsored Product sent to us for free to review.

Can we also select something from the EdenFantasys Sponsored Products section or other products that have not been reviewed on the website? Or do we have to wait to receive our Manufacturer Sponsored Product and then write its review and wait for it to be published.

It says: "These products are provided for review by the manufacturer.
These items are immediately available for assignment - on a first come, first serve basis.
You can request as many items as you wish, but you will only be able to accept and receive one item at a time. These requests are not limited to one person per 30 days.
You will not be able to request another assignment in this program, until you complete you current assignment by submitting your review"

While the Eden Fantasy Sponsored products have this written: "These products are provided for review by EdenFantasys.
You may rerequest as many items as you wish, but you may only accept one EdenFantasys review assignment every 30 days.
All requests of these products are subject to review guideline approval, such as: contributor rank, product cost, and the product already being reviewed."

Does this mean one product from each section can be reviewed at a time or One product in Total at any given time?
Also, what about the products on the website with no reviews or only one review? Do they count in this 1 product per 30 day restriction also?

Like we said we are just a little overzealous and want to be trying a lot of products and hopefully providing some valuable reviews to EdenFantasy users.

I thought this information was in the Reviews section of the Contributor Dashboard, but I have been unable to find it, so I'll paraphrase what I've gathered from the forums and personal experience.

To my knowledge, if you have been assigned a Manufacturer Sponsored product to review, then you cannot request an EF Sponsored review assignment until you have turned in the review. This includes any product that is already live on the site plus the unreleased goodies that sometimes show up when you click on the EF Sponsored option in Product Search. It does not count towards the one per 30 days limit. Anything you request from the site's catalog or under EF Sponsored is lumped into the one per 30 days limit.

When in doubt, just try to request it. The system will let you know if you are unable to request the product.

I hope that helps.

haha I think so, but I better go through all the data I have at my finger tips before I go bothering him haha

He should dye his hair and bear white, and we can call him...well I was going to say Dumbledore but... Gandolf might sound better!

LMAO well Gary actually responded to my queries about some other stuff pretty quickly, so I think Gandolf wouldn't be appropriate; I always viewed him as a rather lazy ass little wizard!

Anyway, thanks Miss Cinnamon that does clarify things. Now i just need to wait for this toy to arrive so we can quickly start using and then writing...

This. But I believe you can request them at the exact same time if you put them into the cart together.

Miss Cinnamon, in her infinite wisdom, is right. I've decided to toss in a bit of additional info on the topic, just to confuse everyone.

Sponsored assignments: Regardless of sponsorship (Eden Fantasys, Evolved, Tantus or Santa Claus) are available one at a time. You must finish your review of a sponsored item before requesting a new one. Only Eden Fantasys sponsored items are subject to the 30 day delay.

Description assignments: Only available to those who are a part of the DR program, but you may have one DR assignment out in addition to the sponsored assignment mentioned above.

Buyout assignments: These are also available, one at a time, in addition to the Sponsored assignment mentioned above.

P.S. If Gary is the Wizard of OZ, that makes Victoria, Glenda the Good Witch of Philly? And Carrie Ann is one of the flying monkeys, right? (Let's see if she reads this thread. hee hee)

Laurel, obviously, hit it spot on. I wish you guys might edit it in to the rules somewhere or something, because I know I bothered Gary with these same questions when I first started. I would assume he probably gets bothered by others too. It makes sense once you know, but in the beginning, it's just a lot to take in.

I'm not sure what the rule is on the "simultaneous assignments". From what Laurel says, it sounds like maybe this was a glitch in the system and we should only expect to be assigned one Sponsored review at a time.

So, probably, the Admin assigned you one of the products you requested and then canceled the second request because you cannot have two simultaneous sponsored assignments. Or, another possibility, one of the products you requested has already been assigned to someone else to review.
