Why are all of the manufactured sponsored products not available?

I was just wondering why are all of the manufactured sponsored products not available for purchase which means out of stock but are listed when searching for products to review.

I'm pretty sure that it's usually because the manufacturer sponsored are new products or new to Eden products. So it will eventually be available for purchase, but for right now they want someone to review it. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's it

"Not available for purchase" does not necessarily mean an item is out of stock. EF gets products for review that they have not decided whether or not to offer for sale to the general community. Therefore, it generally means that there is one or more available as a manufacturer sponsored review assignment, but none are available for purchase by the general public. Hope that helps.

The assignment I'm working on now was listed as not available for purchase and it was approved and shipped within three days after I accepted the assignment.

It's listed as out of stock on the site and when I searched for it through the main page, it wasn't listed at all. So, I assume it is a new product for this manufacturer and I am one of the first to review it.

That's sorta it...kinda.

If it says "not available for purchase", then it is in the Description Review phase. Which means, as Kindred pointed out, it's a new product that's being reviewed an may/may not be carried by EdenFantasys.

A manufacturer sponsored review is when a manufacturer (e.g. California Exotic or Pipedream) wants EdenFantasys to assign certain product(s) for reviews. These are usually currently available items. Every once in a while, it's a really new product they just came out with that we aren't currently selling.

So Kindred was pretty much right, the specifics were a little off though.
