Reviewer Pricing Information--Update?

LovingBookworm LovingBookworm
Hi! I just thought it might be useful for new reviewers who are still figuring out this site if someone could update the FAQ pricing question's answer under the "support" tab for contributors, because the information seems out-of-date.

The specific info on pricing for reviewers (pricing limits for each tier) was updated recently... I'm not sure what you're looking at that's out of date. There are a few other updates in that area coming soon- let me know if there's some specific info you're looking for that you don't see.

When I click on "When can I review an expensive product?" the numbers don't seem to match current guidelines. Because this is in the FAQ section, it would be good to know that the information was current!

Under Account\Contributor\Fr equently Asked Questions
there is a lot of old information that needs to be updated.

Wasn't there a plan to allow us to purchase an item at a heavy discount if we were to write a review? Status on that?

I was going to start my own discussion but I think my question falls into this one. Under the pricing guidelines it says after 10 reviews you should choose a product under $50, but in the FAQs it says after 10 you can review anything under $150. That's confusing. Also, does that count include unverified reviews, or just verified?

I'm still new to this part of the program. I just got approved. (YAY!!)

Oh, another thing...which doesn't really go under this, but it's kind of related. What is the definition of a verified review? Does it have to be from something you request for review, or can it be something you bought on your own?

The information in the FAQs is old and has been replaced by the information on the pricing guidelines page. I think I tried to point out to them that the FAQs needed to be updated a while back, but they have obviously failed to do so.

A verified review is one that had to go through the assignment process (it has to be assigned and accepted). I think that even applies to ones purchased at a discount through the assignment process. Reviews on items purchased completely on your own are considered unassigned reviews.

When it gives a specific amount of reviews, it is referring to verified reviews This is easier to figure out now because the website won't let you automatically request a product whose price is out of your "range"--it will prompt you to email the administrator about products that are still too expensive for you. The definition of a verified review is a review for a product that you requested from EdenFantasys. Reviews of things you bought on your own are just "normal" reviews.

Or... yeah. What Jones said I have no idea if reviews for stuff purchased with the "reviewer's discount" counts as verified. I would assume so, but I am far from 100% on it. Anyone have a solid answer?

My boyfriend did the buyout option and it did indeed post as a verified. It was the Tenga Flip Hole by Bucking Bill. Solid answer.
