Each person's body is unique and has its own limits and comfort zones. The trick is to find yours over time and with the help of your wife.
If your goal is to try and fit the Jeff Styker toy, you can see about slowly working up to it. Find toys that are tapered and allow you to start out small and gradually increase the width. Practice, practice, practice and I bet you can do it.
Believe it or not, you can fit some darn big things up there (well in excess of 2" diameter). I always thought fisting and huge toys were video editing tricks, but I have learned that are indeed possible and pleasurable.
Let's just say that my wife and are are well past the 2" diameter barrier. ;-)

The first time I tried a large toy (the Tantus A-Bomb), I thought I would never get it in. It felt like I was running into some sort of hard limit, possibly even the bones. After working at it for a couple of weeks I could take the Bomb, and after working on it for a couple months insertion got even easier. The moral of this story is keep going - try out your Stryker for a while regularly, but don't expect to get it in (if you do you might push to hard). Then, drop back to something that you know is pleasurable and that you can take as a reward. Then try again later. Eventually you'll be able to take the Stryker unless you're really tiny.
Other tips are working with warm toys (they do help relaxation), trying different positions, and wiggling the toy around rather than just pushing.

BTW, I find which lube you use is very important. Our two favorites are Sex Grease and Maximus. Both of these lubes are very thick and do a great job keeping things slippery for extended periods of anal fun.

My limit is about 2.1 inches.
Anything larger hurts quite bad. Although I have seen other go a lot further.
At first I was limited by my pelvic bone (so I thought) but with enough relaxation and going in at an angle, I was able to get objects in of larger size.
Unfortunately, I my limit is from 2 or 3 hemorrhoid I have on my inner sphincter (atleast that is what I think they are).
It sucks because I am only 19 (I think I got these from back when I was 10 way before I knew there was some better way to get stuff out through enemas), and have the desire to do so much bigger, but I cannot without experiencing a lot of pain, and possible small traces of blood I have seen in the past.

I finally did it!!! Jeff Stryker fucked my hole for the first time today! I started by lubing up my fingers with Maximus and inserted two and massaging my sphincter muscles.
