I find it hard to buy a toy if it's not pretty -- and that goes for buttplugs too. I have a b-bomb and I love the color; I don't think I would have bought it otherwise. I'm tempted by glass and stainless steel buttplugs, not because I need them, but because they're pretty.

What about you? Are looks (in toys)important?

Function is obviously very important to me, I have seen some anal toys here where the base was very obviously way too small and even had some reviews about slipping in. BUT appearance is super important to me as well. I would never buy a bad functioning butt plug just because it was pretty though.

I seriously recommend getting a Pure Plug. I have the medium and its both gorgeous and functional! The base is heaven.

Agreed. I won't buy a toy just because it's pretty but I also wont buy a toy I think is ugly! And if a color I want is out of stock, I'll wait for it to be back in before I purchase the toy.

For example, I really want the Tantus Ryder Plug but I want it in purple! So I have to wait for it to come back in stock first.

I like certain colors and the look sometimes makes me either smile or snear, but I want the thing to be of good quality and do the job it's supposed to in the end. What good is a pretty plug you can't use (like I hear the Pfun is since it doesn't stay in very well).

I would never buy a bad toy just because it was pretty. The prettiness definitely does come into play though.

It has to be a great material, functional shape, and I like certain colors. If there isn't a color I like, that might be enough for me not to order it.
