Good first time butt plug for someone who has already experienced anal sex?

Contributor: Saraid Saraid
My partner and I had our first adventure into anal sex the other night, which was amazing! He started by slowly inserting 1 finger, then 2, etc.

He fit inside me just fine without discomfort (he is about 7-8" and I think average circumference). However, I have now decided I want to buy a butt plug to kind of warm up before anal sex as I think it would be more comfortable than multiple fingers.

However, I don't want to get something to big or small. Any advice?

There are a lot of options available for this, I would suggest you start with something that is small at the tip and tapers larger (1.5 - 1.75 inches) and then comes back to a neck at about 1". I think this will provide you with a decent warm up and will get your butt used to having something in there.
Some silicone toys to consider might be: Tristan, Severin, or Ace Plug Royal from Tantus or the Screw or the Screw royal (for a little more stretch) by Whipspider Rubberworks. The Screw has a great base for long term wear, in my opinion, so if the choice were mine, that's probably where I would start. The cool glow in the dark version seems to be out of stock right now, though.

I haven't tried the Screw, but from what I've heard I can second Jimbo's recommendation , especially if you like some texture. If you want something smooth Bronco is also a good shape for warm-up play. I have a Tristan II and I love it, but the taper is pretty fast, so you might want to save the Tristan series for when you're more advanced. The Tantus Flirt is good for warm up, but it doesn't stay in well on its own.

Both of us are recommending silicone plugs , and while I can't speak for all of Jimbo's reasons I imagine that they're similar to mine. Silicone is 100% body safe (no toxic chemicals), easy to clean, lasts a lifetime, and is flexible so it's easy to insert and comfortable to wear.

Try the "Swirl" it has a small tip and gradually expands. No discomfort and pleasing!
